A Message from the MD

It is safe to say that this financial year has been tumultuous, however we have pulled together and transformed a negative into a positive. Many exciting milestones have been reached and countless opportunities were seized. Becoming part of British Engineering Services with their complementary values and shared goals, our bond has gone from strength to strength.

Despite the pandemic, we have hit and surpassed financial targets, working exceptionally as a team to overcome the obstacles placed in our path. We have adapted seamlessly to this new world, creating new processes, a virtual approach for Electrical Safety Network, purchasing the TEGG franchise and witnessing the demand for Electric Vehicle ChargePoint Installations soar. Lantei Learning has and will continue to be a fantastic asset to Lantei. The division has been integral to upskilling our engineers, equipping them with the latest qualifications from 18th Edition to 2391 Inspection and Testing.

The resilience of every one of you has been evident even more throughout this year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you as without your determination, Lantei would not be where we are today, and this growth would not have been possible.

As we look forward, we will be extending the financial year to January 2022. This process will be in place for the foreseeable future with the period running from January to the following January, aligning with the BES approach. We will be looking to start cross-selling into each other’s customer base, increasing the level of work and developing these fantastic opportunities. Together, we will continue to grow. Collectively, anything is possible.

This entry is a celebration of how we have worked harmoniously as a team to grow Lantei and each individual division, so we could not have got this far without you all. With tickets now sold out, we secured ours just in time. Scheduled for later this year, we will be keeping our fingers crossed for a winning outcome!
